The training, which spans for a period of three months, has provided the professional exposure required for the job function. The highlights of the training are as follows:

• Diet counseling to indoor and outdoor patients.
• Menu planning for Therapeutic and normal diets.
• Supervision of hospital kitchen from dietician point of view.
• Analysis and assessment of patient undergone diet schedule.
• Dealing the patients with Diabetes Renal problems (Renal stones, Transplant, Chronic Renal Failure, and Acute Renal Failure) and digestive diseases (Pancreatitis, Gastritis, Tropical Sprue, Hepatitis etc.)
• Meeting the ICU patients and deciding the Enteral or Parenteral nutrition..
• Quality checking of the food material. ,


PROJECT TRAINING

“A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF DIETARY INTAKE BASED ON GENDER BIAS AND ITS RELATION TO PHYSICAL GROWTH OF PRESCHOOLERS 3 TO 5 yrs BOYS AND GIRLS”.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
• Participated in National Nutrition Week Programme (1 - 7 2003) sponsored by UNICEF organized by Indian Dietetics Association Indore. The focus of activity was to:
 To create awareness among general public about Health and Nutrition.
 The awareness was communicated to tribal and urban areas with help of street plays.
 Also conducted health assessment camps to give individual attention to targeted audience.
 The program was highly appreciated by the health ministry.
• Volunteered visited to Anganwadi, in indore.Provided and coordinated informative lectures on Vitamin-A and Iron through games and skits.

• Participated in Each-One-Teach-One project carried out at Institute of Home Economics (University of Delhi) New Delhi during (2002-2003).
• Participated in National Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (2000-2001) as NSS volunteer organized by Institute of Home Economics (University of Delhi), New Delhi.
